After the amazing reception at the “Circolo di Lettura e Conversazione”, this morning was hard to get up (very hard!!), but the today schedule is still full and very interesting!

The parallel sessions 5.1, 5.2, 5.3 are having place and we are going to listen the keynote speech of Ruud Bruyns, the founder of BOBCATSSS, titled “Once upon a time in the West (and East)”.
And then we are ready for the Awards Ceremony moderated by Tatjana Aparac, and for the Closing ceremony…

Hi there!
BOBCATSSS2010 is going on with a full schedule!

Yesterday evening the day finished delightfully with the social dinner and today the sessions started at 9.30 a.m.!!

At the Aula magna, we had a full morning panel on “Education of the 21st century professionals”, moderated by Anna Maria Tammaro and Ragnar Aundson.

At Borgo Carissimi we are attending the 2, 3, 4 sessions and workshops 5, 6, and we are waiting for the poster presentation at 4 p.m.

…and tonight more wine and food are waiting for us by the “Circolo di Lettura e Conversazione”!!!

Bobcatsss in up and running!

Bobcatsss is on!
We have started this morning with the IFLA president Ellen Tise and professor Paul Sturges.

Right now, people is discussing in the workshops, after a really sweet and appreciated coffee break with italian patisserie.

Guided tour of Parma

As previously announced a tour guide of the city has been organized on January the 27th at 3:00 p.m., at the end of the Meeting. You can choose between different tours; each one lasts 2 hours.
The reception’s staff will collect the accessions from the first meeting day.

Pilotta - Duomo - Battistero – Piazza Garibaldi
The classical tour of the town that will take you through the main spots.
€ 5,00 per pax, € 3,00 to enter the Baptistery

Duomo - San Giovanni - Santa Maria della Steccata
Correggio and Parmigianino are our two greatest painters and the tour will take you through their frescoes.
€ 5,00 per pax

Museo Diocesano - Duomo - Battistero
If you are interested in Middle Age history and art, this tour will take you through our most important sites and Antelami’s sculptures.
€ 5,00 per pax, € 4,00 to enter the Baptistery and Museum
